Check all employee contact details are up to date.
Document your policy on how you will deal with absence, including - Time off for dependents - Sick pay provisions Remember, that Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) will be applying from day 1 of absence in the event of sickness absence/self isolation due to Coronavirus.
Have a contingency plan which outlines if/how employees could continue to complete their work at home.
Communicate the symptoms to your teams, including your contingency plan and how you deal with absence.
Understand where your employees plan to travel over the next few months.
Review the advice and guidance being provided on the gov.uk website. Inform employees returning from foreign travel on what they should do before returning to work.
